BTS is collabing with Free Fire on a new video

GamesBeat Summit 2022 returns April 26-28 with its biggest event for gaming leaders. Reserve your place here!

Korean pop band BTS is teaming up with Free Fire (Mobile Battle Royale Game) for music video collaboration. Digital Duet BTS is also introducing in-game costumes and emotes for free fire designed by the boys.

The team-up was originally announced in late February, but details were scarce at the time. Over the past two weeks, Free Fire Back publisher Garena has been releasing behind-the-scenes videos on its YouTube channel. This video shows the extremely popular band playing a game, drawing costumes and designing emotes.

Not shy about free fire collabs. In true Battle Royale style it incorporates elements from the widely known pop culture icon into the game at a surprising rate. The record-setting game – which passed 1 billion downloads on the Google Play Store in August 2021 – features collaborations with numerous anime shows, real-life artists, sports stars and luxury car brands.

The collaboration continues with new tech on their song, BTS Music Video for Idol. The original video surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube in September 2021. The new video will re-imagine the video in the style of Garena’s Free Fire.

It is difficult to overstate how dedicated BTS Fandom is. But I bet there’s going to be a sudden surge in free fire downloads. Yes, I see you Army members there. I know how you are
