Nexon said it will launch a mobile version of Dungeon and Fighter on March 24 in South Korea.
The mobile game has been around for a long time, and observers have high expectations as Dungeon & Fighter Online has more than 850 million players and more than $ 15 billion in revenue (revenue figure for May 2020).
The Tokyo-based Nexon said the announcement was made by the game’s three developers, General Director Myongjin Yoon and head of development Wonman Lee and Sungte OK.
The game features iconic 2D arcade-style side-scrolling action, immersive multiplayer role-playing game (RPG) elements, and a constantly evolving storyline. Mobile Dungeon and Fighter will provide a fast, fun and action-packed gameplay experience, the company said.

Look at the demand
Mobile Dungeon and Fighter is the first of three expected new virtual worlds that Nexon will launch in 2022. The latter is the first game from Nexon’s Embark Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
Market researcher Nico Partners said Nexon also continues to coordinate with its Chinese publishing partner, Tencent Games, on game releases in China, although Nexon does not currently have any information regarding release time.
Nico said the title was originally scheduled for launch in mainland China in August 2020 but was delayed at the last minute. While no official reason for the delay was given, Nico believes he needs an updated license before the title launches. Since March 2020, seven Korea-developed games have been given ISBN. No Korean games were allowed between March 2017 and February 2020.
