Samina Shah is the Managing Director of Artificial Intelligence Research at Digital and Platform Services, where she and her team work across the firm to create artificial intelligence technology for business transformation and growth. He is a highly skilled leader in AI, engineering, data with over 20 years of academic and industry experience. As a result of her leadership, award-winning AI technologies have transformed products and businesses.

Previously, Samina was the Managing Director at S&P Global where she led the firm’s strategy and development for Augmented Intelligence. Prior to that, Samina visited Thomson Reuters, the Shonfeld Securities hedge fund, Yahoo! Researched, and ran her own AI consultancy firm.

Samina holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, an MS in Computer Science from IIT Delhi and a BS in Electronics Engineering. He is passionate about artificial intelligence and change and is a frequently invited speaker at top forums, including keynotes at Ted Talks and the Premier AI Conference (IJCAI 2021). She is the recipient of numerous scientific and industry awards, including the country’s top PhD thesis from Microsoft, Claudera’s top AI / ML application award, Google Women Award in Engineering, and JPMC Prolific Inventor with 30+ patents and 60+ peer reviewed publications.
