Menticore Games today announced on its first anniversary that Core is bringing its Metavers platform to iOS. It is also rolling out party portals, a collection of core built-in games with which users can host their own events and Game Night.

Menticor notes that the core has more than 3 million users in its first year and 30,000 creators have launched 50,000 playable games and events. Party portals make it easy for all users to start their own events, including minigames like bowling and poker.

Frederick Descamps, CEO of Manticor, said in a statement: “Core Metavers is an open virtual social space for self-expression, creativity and new economic opportunities. We provide our wonderful community of over 3 million users with the tools to create, share and experience any world they can imagine. As we prepare to make the core available to millions of iOS and Mac users this summer, we’re expanding the platform by releasing new types of highly accessible social experiences, including party portals, and more to come later this year. “

The Core has been the venue for many virtual events over the past year, including the Deadmau 5 Concert and Geoff Kegley’s Axial Tilt. The iOS version of the platform will support crossplay with PC and Mac.
