Massive data centers are creeping into cities

How did they do it? They exposed the brains of live locusts and inserted electrodes into the lobes that receive signals from the insect’s antennae, which they use to sense odors. The locust brain reacted explicitly to odors emitted from human cells with and without cancer in the laboratory-the brain of the first living insect has been tested as a means of detecting the disease.
