Nintendo revealed during its most recent financial report that lifetime sales for the Switch as of December 31st were 103.54 million.

Not only does this surpass 100 million milestones, but it also surpasses the Wii 101.63 million consoles.

Essentially launching on March 3, 2017, the Switch still has no successor, so sales should continue. Major games are on the horizon, including a sequel to Splatoon 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

However, if it wants to keep Nintendo’s best-selling console, the portable Nintendo DS, on top, the Switch still has a way to go. It sold 154.02 million units.
