Video Game Studios, founded by Otherside Entertainment, industry visionary Paul Neurath and Warren Specter, have confirmed that Specter is working on a new game. Specter has worked on major titles such as System Shock, Deuce X and Epic Mickey.

On top of that, OtherSide Entertainment has appointed Jeff Goodsill as its general manager. The company said Specter is now working on an immersive simulation based on a completely new intellectual property developed by the other side.

“It’s great to work with a talented team on a new title and a new IP,” Specter, Specter, chief creative officer of OtherSide Entertainment, said in a statement. “Fans of my work already know what to expect: an immersive world and exciting storyline that will have a direct impact on players through their preferences and play style. We are still in the early stages of development and look forward to sharing more information soon.”

Concord, with staff in Austin, Texas and across the United States, creates mass-based, otherside immersive experiences in which the player has the power to influence the world and storyline through gameplay choices. The studio is rented for a variety of roles throughout the United States.

Goodsell spent six months as a strategic advisor to the other side before joining as general manager.

Warren Specter is a co-founder of OtherSide Entertainment.

“I am honored to work with industry giants at the other side. Paul, Warren and their teams have been instrumental in creating and advancing the immersive sim style, “Goodsill said in a statement. “I’m joining a passionate team working on exciting projects and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish.”

Goodsile previously held senior production and executive roles at Ensemble Studios, Papyrus Design Group, Iron Lore Entertainment and Tencent Boston. Working on iconic franchises including Age of Empires, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Titan Quest and NASCAR Racing and more, Goodsill has brought to market games that have collectively sold over $ 1 billion.

“Jeff brings a wealth of proven experience to manage high-performance development studios. We are thrilled to have him join our executive team,” said Neurath, CEO of Otherside.

We last heard about the other side after working on System Shock 3 under a deal with publisher Starbreeze. But in 2019 and 2020, the project suffered a setback and layoffs.
