Samsung’s launch plans over the past two years have been unusual, but it looks like the company’s next flagship could return to normal. According to a new rumor, the Galaxy S22 launch date could be February 8th.
Korean media outlet DDaily.co.kr reports that Samsung is planning a launch event for its Galaxy S22 series on February 8. The outlet claims that Samsung has “confirmed” the date with “Galaxy Unpacked 2022” which will be held virtually online.
Invitations will be sent out later this month, but it is unclear whether there will be an individual component for the launch, but MWC 2022 may open the door for individual screening later this month.
To date, MWC 2022 is still being held face to face in Barcelona from 28 February to 3 March. Apparently, pre-orders for the Galaxy S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra will begin on February 9, with sales starting on February 24.
About a month after the Galaxy S21 series debuted – the series went on sale on January 29th. The Galaxy Tab S8 series is expected to come with the Galaxy S22, which will have three variants, including the giant Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
