Seagate is releasing three new external HDDs in a timely manner to celebrate Star Wars Day. Three new art designs feature the characters of Boba Fat, Grogu and The Mandlorian. The new drives are joining the line of Seagate’s Special Edition drives, including the 2021 Star Wars Basker Ingot themed drive.

“We are thrilled to announce the recent release of our ongoing collaboration with Lucasfilm, which has brought three fresh and iconic designs for gamers and Star Wars fans,” said Jeff Fauchtman of Seagate. “From the design to the drive functionality, this release brings strength to Star Wars enthusiasts’ battle stations.”

The new drives are equipped with customizable RGB LED lighting. Assuming you don’t want to change things, each drive is programmed with lighting to match the featured character. The Boba Fat Drive is pre-programmed with Vibrant Red, while the others are in the default blue.

The drives have 2TB of storage space, and work with PC, Mac, Xbox and Playstation. They are designed to use USB 3.2 for universal compatibility and fast data transfer. All three storage devices are available for purchase until May 4, retailing for 109.99 USD.

They also come with a five-year limited warranty and three-year data recovery services, which are excellent for external drives. I don’t know about anyone else, but I have a bad habit of accidentally leaving them.
