Sniper Elite 5 pulled from Epic Games Store

Did you miss the GamesBeat Summit 2022 session? All sessions are now available to stream. Now look.

Sniper Elite 5, the latest in the Sniper Elite series, has been launched on most major platforms except Epic. As of this writing, the game is not available on Epic Games Store. Customers who pre-order on EGS have received refunds, according to the FAQ on Rebelion’s website.

One theory we’ve heard is that the game won’t be available until the end of the Epic Games mega sale. The sale, which runs from May 19 to June 16, offers a 25% discount on games over $ 15. It’s not clear if that would apply to the day’s game purchase release, but that’s a good reason.

Credit for the confusion, Sniper Elite 5 still has a page on EGS. The condition for the game is “coming soon”, which I believe is just a temporary setback. On Windows, Sniper Elite 5 is currently available on Steam and PC Game Pass. So, for those of you who want to play on PC, these are your options. It is also available on consoles for PS4, PS5, XBox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.

The sniper series follows Carl Fairburn on his Nazi-assassination adventures around the world. This time you will find yourself fighting a Nazi war machine around D-Day in France.

We’ve reached out to the rebels for comment but, so far, we haven’t heard back. We will update with any feedback we receive.
