How the PlayStation 5 now completes the 20 million sales milestone, according to a new report. It also plans to increase production so that it can meet upcoming milestones faster.

The report comes from GamesIndustry.biz and quotes Veronica Rogers, head of global sales and business operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment. Rogers says the console surpassed the mark by selling more than 20 million units at the time of writing.

Seeing how hard it was to catch them, I was shocked to hear that the company has made so many PS5s. According to industry analyst Daniel AhmedSupply chain issues that have made it difficult for consoles to arrive are the reason behind the PS4 in the comparable timeline.

According to Rogers, the company is working to solve the problem of making more consoles: “For those fans who have not yet got their hands on the console, please know that we are planning a significant ramp-up in PS5 production. This year and we’re working tirelessly to make sure the PlayStation 5 is available to anyone who wants it. “
