Warren Specter System came to the PC gaming show to reveal details about the remake of Shock.

Specter was one of the key figures behind the original 1994 title, which greatly influenced subsequent games.

The title doesn’t have a launch date yet. But the video released on the PC gaming show gives us a good idea of what it will look like. The graphics look great with the interior of the spaceship filled with colors and shadows and lots of mechanical systems.

The original game had a lot of action, horror and flashing lights. You had to fight Shodan, an immortal machine that went insane. It’s coming from NightDive Studios.

Advising KnightDive, Specter said, “Shondand seems very close to reality right now. “I’ve worked on a lot of games now where they have predictable quality that I could never have predicted, and System Shock is one of them. As far as I can tell Shodan is around the corner. Let’s hope it doesn’t look as nasty as it did in 1994.
