Total War and Madden join Xbox Game Pass in late February

Microsoft today announced the next batch of games that will be added to the Xbox Game Pass in the second half of February. The headliners are Total War: Warhammer III and Madden NFL 22, but many other games are coming to new devices in the next two weeks.

The first game available on the new device is the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, available in the cloud from today. Madden NFL 22 is the only game on the list that is coming to both console and PC. It launches on February 17 with Total War (PC) and Lanmoving Simulator (Xbox One).

At the end of the month, on February 22nd, a preview of FPS Rogulite RoboQuest is coming to PC. On February 24, we are getting Galactic Civilizations III (PC) and Super Mega Baseball 3 (console). Round Out of the Month is Alice: Madness Returns, which launches for PC users on February 28th.

Overall, it’s not necessarily a month full of new additions. Alice: Some games like Madness Returns are already in service. Xbox is adding them to new devices. But I don’t want to be too greedy. Given the recent Microsoft acquisitions, I would speculate that the game pass offering will expand at some point in the future.

With Game Pass, as always, you must sacrifice some games to bring new opportunities. On February 28, Hynospace Outlaw, Killer Queen Black, Stealth Inc 2 and Touhou Luna Nights will release Xbox Game Pass.
