GamesBeat Summit 2022 returns April 26-28 with its biggest event for gaming leaders. Reserve your place here!
Xbox has announced its Gold With Games for April 2022. As always, this means that those who have an Xbox Live Gold subscription will have exclusive access to four games, at the beginning of two months, after two. This month, the slate includes another site, Hue, and the outpost Kaloki X.
The first half of the month will have a latest release and a retro. The new game is another site, a fantasy adventure starring Kit, a girl who has lost her sight, and Cat Hodge. Together they must navigate the 2D platform version of Stempunk London. The retro release outpost is Kaloki X, a space station management sim. The second site is available all month from April 1 to 30 and the outpost Kaloki X is available from April 1 to 15.
Starting April 16, subscribers will have access to two more games. The first is Hugh, a beautiful color puzzle in which the main character must navigate a monotonous world looking for a loved one. Subscribers can play Hue until May 15. The other game is MX vs ATV Alive, an offroad racing title that will be available from April 16 to 30.
From last month’s release, Gold subscribers can still play Street Power Soccer until April 15th.

Coincidentally, the announcement came on the same day that PlayStation announced the new, improved PlayStation Plus. The “Game Pass Competitor” combines its two subscription services, PlayStation Now and Plus, into a new monthly product that will provide access to free games. Games with Gold aren’t really part of the Game Pass paradigm, except that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’s subscribers also have Gold.
